Launched in 2001, the .NAME generic domain name extension is the only one intended for personal sites only. These domain names can include personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other labels people are popular by. Initially, only third-level registrations were possible, so if you wished to register john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already purchased 3rd-level domain names remained operational.

You will have the chance to alter the WHOIS contact details, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already purchased domain to our firm if you receive its EPP transfer authorization key from the present registration provider and we will renew it after the transfer has been done.
